Well, We Survived the Party

Our little shindig started last night at 7pm.  The last two couples didn’t leave until after midnight so I think it was a pretty good party.  And it was a perfect night to have it on our front porch–very breezy (Thank you, Tropical Storm Fay) and a nice 75 degrees.  There were about twelve couples and we had a very good time…and our house looked pretty good too!  Unfortunately, my camera died after four pictures and it was too late to recharge the battery before everyone got here.  Oh well, here’s what I took:

Great pics, Nat ! And it sounds as if your party was a great success!
Say, I thought Tropical storms only occurred near the coast such as here in Charleston or the next nearer one to you in Savannah !”Gwinnet County is a it fer piece to be effected.”
Your house is beautiful…know you have had fun gathering your antiques which as you know have to be at least a hundred years old to be classified as antigue. What fun to look for authenics ! Just adds to the beauty of your home ! Aunt Margaret
