Spring in the South

There is a home at the end of my parents’ street that has a front yard covered in daffodils.  I mean, *covered*.  It’s absolutely gorgeous.  Every spring that I can remember its been like that.

This past week I had my grandmother call the lady who owns the house since she went to high school with my grandfather (Dacula class of ’48 for all you locals).  She told us to come over and take as many pictures as we wanted and that’s what we did this afternoon.  Unfortunately, it was so so so very sunny and it was harder to get good shots, but I’m not complaining.

I got this one and I’m in love with it.

You can check out more of them from today (and tonight in our front yard) on my flickr page.

{And yes, that’s the shirt I made in the tutorial from a couple of weeks ago.  It launders well as you can see.}

    Are you going to give her a picture of MM as a thank you?

    How is MM doing on the potty? Is it hit-or-miss or is she going on it regularly?

    lisa, yes, i should! she might like that! 🙂
    she goes any time we put her on it–which i think is pretty awesome! she hasn’t figured out she needs to tell us when she needs to go, but she’s so young i’m not worried about that yet. and no #2’s, but again, no worries! 🙂
    thanks for asking!

    That’s my grandmother’s! Isn’t is lovely? Everytime I think of daffadils, I think of her.
